Long Term Lease/Rentals
|
Long Term Rentals Features: The Mahone Bay Centre also offers long term leases for rooms from 276 to 750 square feet in size. Rental rates are generally in the $10-$12 per square foot per annum range. This translates into, for example, a 375 square foot room rental fee in the $292-$350 per month range, plus HST. Lease costs include heat and utilities (unless usage is excessive), free parking and kitchen privileges except when the kitchen is rented for an event. Rooms are accessed through attractive common areas.

Room Rental Guidelines
In order to assist us with the rental process we need to know:
- The nature and type of event e.g. a meeting, an exhibition, etc.
- The number of people expected to attend.
- The date(s) and time(s) you are requesting. Unless otherwise agreed, all rentals will end at 11.00 p.m.
- Any special equipment needs.
MBC requirements
- Renters are responsible for obtaining their own liquor licence, if required, and for carrying any insurance required for their rental event. MBC maintains general insurance coverage for common areas only.
- A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking with the balance on the day following the reservation date.
- HST applies to all rentals.
- Should clean up be required after the event, or damage is caused, the cost of the clean up or repair will be charged to the renter at the rate of $30 hour and for replacement goods at the purchase cost plus tax and shipping.
